They swapped in a DIBL without telling you? Hope you got the few hundred bucks back? Lol. I told my dealer that if the SIBL or hard tonneau cover was going to be an issue or delay to take them off the order. I can get that done myself locally. The 4K pkg is my main concern.

Well, I've been reading a lot of posts on how some people waited over a year for their Maverick. I've also read that 23 orders are being rolled over to a 24 and that they could be taking priority. Seeing as your already got a confirmation e-mail that's good news? Any thoughts as to how long...

I've already thoroughly researched what the Mav can pull. I'll be waiting till next year to get mine so I've had plenty of time on my hands to do my homework. LOL. Dozens of options out there on travel trailers under 3,200lbs. That's the max unloaded I'd consider once you load your trailer...

Hopefully they're easier to find in the US if you wish to buy used. They're darn near impossible to get used in Canada.

The only fifth wheel I know of that's light enough for a Maverick to tow safely under 4,000lb limit is the Scamp. It comes in high 2,000 to low 3,000 UVWR.

A very informative assessment! I'm only 5'8" so I may have to augment my front seat cushions to add some depth cushioning. The test drive sold me on the Maverick over the Ranger though. Smoother ride for an older guy like me. Lol

When it arrives early late spring next year the Maverick will be my first truck....and hopefully my last! 4,000lb towing capacity will be plenty for me to get a nice travel trailer for my wife and I somewhere down the road.

I just ordered iconic silver because I liked the way it contrasted the dark trim but it was a tough decision. I was back and forth on the CG too.
