I actually put a 235/65r17 Falken Wildpeak as my spare to match the rest and it fit fine, though any ball mount I use has only about 1/2 inch of play out the back of the receiver.

235 fits just fine, that is what I have on it now in the later photos and as a spare. I have seen people fit 245s on the truck, but standard installers will not put those on for you since the size is not a Ford Option. Not sure about 245 as a spare though. Enjoy.
