Give me a shout before you stop by, I don't want you to stop and not be able to get what you want. We sold out of catch cans and need grommets for our intakes, the products are moving faster than I'd have guessed. Should be good again next week.
Once the intake is on you will be shocked how...
No, it's there for a mount of some sort that isn't used on these trucks. My guess is this subframe is used in something else and that hole is for that application.
We wanted to over the rear axle or even use the hole in the subframe but both are impossible. There is zero room to get through there.
The exhaust in 3" is higher than the factory 2-3/8" system.
SUPER happy with our exhaust for the Maverick 2.0 AWD!
We wanted a full 3" system so it won't ever need to be upgraded again, we wanted something with NO drone, wanted to keep it on the quiet side, at least the same ground clearance as stock and lighter weight than the factory. Well we nailed...
You are incorrect. The intake tube is under constant vacuum, the engine is constantly pulling air through the air filter and through that tube, that tube goes directly to the turbo inlet, it's under a constant pull. I mean it doesn't even take much thought to realize that.
We've dumped this...
I believe what I said was the line on the valve cover had no PCV in it.
The line on the valve cover is 5/8" and is a HUGE draw directly into the intake tract, that is where the vapors/oil contamination is drawn directly into the intake tract, pulled into the turbo inlet, through the...
Yep, testing in the weather we had......can't say I tested it in 80 degree days since I'm in Ohio and haven't had the truck with the parts in those temps.
The "results" will be the same in all conditions. The underhood temps are going to be XX with the factory box or our filter, then as soon...
There is a much more complex catch can kit coming for guys who want it and don't need to worry about emission testing. We are having some parts CNC'd for that right now. The kit price will go up too of course.
Easiest way to order is just call, 567-424-0471. The products will be on the site...
The hose that we tied into draws vapors/oil directly from the valve cover, as I have stated. The can on my truck has now been taken off multiple times for test fitting etc. of the final product. Each time the can has had a substantial amount of water/oil in it.
We contacted Green and have filters on order, I however don't like the "green" color and everything we order (all custom built for us) we have them do in black.
After the testing today back to back with the stock enclosed box and our intake and proving there is no need for a heat shield, no, we will not waste time/money and making a more expensive part that will not add anything but cost.
