No I didn't if you hit someone hard enough to push nudge back into the front of your truck and cause damage then with out nudge bar the damage would be much worse. If think you're body shop guy don't like nudge bars.

They make smaller ones that don't mount under the truck but much more expensive and vary hard to install but yes this one definitely cuts down front clearance just have to be careful. Don't off road more of a show truck and camping

Mounts right to the frame. Only cutting the fabric under liner a little on each side. Took about 1 hour needed wife to hold bar while I got the 2 bolts in on each side so second pair of hands needed for 10 mins.LOL
