I saw it up close and in person one of my customers where I work just bought a 2021 Ranger in Cactus Gray and I fell in love with the color. It isn't any kind of green at all it is a true gray.
If the Maverick really doesn't fit your needs for versatility try the Ranger. I have a 2019 Ranger SuperCrew and love it. It has all the power you need and a outstanding towing capability. And it has a regular shifter.
Don't get me wrong I like the Maverick and I am thinking seriously about getting one but the big useless hole beside the info screen begs the question why ?
The screen in the Maverick is the same screen Ford uses in everything the same one is in my Ranger and my wife Edge. I would have thought Ford would have given the Maverick a bigger screen for the Lariat but I guess they decided to use one screen size to hold cost down.
For me the fact that Ford has been driving around Maverick's with almost no camo for months and let Hyundai beat them to the punch on the reveal Santa Cruz makes Ford look like they are following the leader instead of being the leader. Especially when Ford has revealed cars almost a year before...
Every time I go looking for a new car I always know more than any salesman they have. When I went looking at 2015 Mustangs a salesman was getting a GT for me to drive it wasn't a GT it was a V6 I could tell that by looking at the taillight panel. 🤦♂️
