Although I was making an argument for production of the 2 door, I “love” 4-doors on a compact truck. I looked at the VW Saveiro ext cab and my dog struggled to be comfortable back there.

I occasionally try, but my my24 has ignored me since I shipped it 2 years ago. I too am interested if there’s a way. You’d think the software stuff would connect, but I get nothing from connecting with the truck. Had to go back to actually checking tire pressure, etc.

I would see a key to a 2-door or extended cab as a more affordable option that fill the needs of many. Now that the Mav is higher in price, good time for another inexpensive choice. Ford should know how the current Maverick created a large backlog of orders when introduced.

That appears to be a nice distance between the rear wheel well and the bumper. Either a great disguise or that truck had a bigger bed IMO.

Also the 1st time I’ve seen the starting price for a vehicle is now $50k…yikes! So are they saying the Maverick has beaten all of the mid-sized pickups out there by not having a “mid” listed?

Outside North America compact pickups are common. RAM, Chevy, VW etc. Ford only sells the Maverick “inside” North America. If they put the Maverick head-to-head against the world of compact pickups, it would dominate. do you think these companies talk to each other 🧐😁?

Just happened to get stuck behind a Rampage 1/2 hr ago. Looks nice enough. I like the split tailgate that opens like double doors. Unfortunately this fairly new mini-truck had double doors that no-longer aligned.

My brother “loves” my Mav. He’s a car collector so he heard the name “Maverick” and had a totally different reaction (not a positive one). He “thinks” he had never seen one… but now that he is very interested, he sees them all the time.

Changan has that upside down Acura logo. Truck looks like a Tacoma in person. 150 blazing diesel HP. I do like the anchor hooks (option) “outside” of the bed. Maybe in another 10 years or so it may be tolerable.
