I was the guy who bought the Radio Shack Realistic dual-head 8-track āandā cassette player for my car. I was the smart guy that had both technologies covered for the future of mobile listening. š¤ Correctionā¦.. I was the dummy that boughtā¦ā¦!
Although I was making an argument for production of the 2 door, I āloveā 4-doors on a compact truck. I looked at the VW Saveiro ext cab and my dog struggled to be comfortable back there.
I occasionally try, but my my24 has ignored me since I shipped it 2 years ago. I too am interested if thereās a way. Youād think the software stuff would connect, but I get nothing from connecting with the truck. Had to go back to actually checking tire pressure, etc.
I would see a key to a 2-door or extended cab as a more affordable option that fill the needs of many. Now that the Mav is higher in price, good time for another inexpensive choice. Ford should know how the current Maverick created a large backlog of orders when introduced.
I have a relative that had two-door vehicles her whole life (sheās now 70). Would suffer getting groceries out of the back seat just so she could have the two-door design. A few years ago she found her choices very limited. I gave her a few 3&4 door choices for reliability and the noting the...
Also the 1st time Iāve seen the starting price for a vehicle is now $50kā¦yikes!
So are they saying the Maverick has beaten all of the mid-sized pickups out there by not having a āmidā listed?
Outside North America compact pickups are common. RAM, Chevy, VW etc.
Ford only sells the Maverick āinsideā North America. If they put the Maverick head-to-head against the world of compact pickups, it would dominate.
do you think these companies talk to each other š§š?
Just happened to get stuck behind a Rampage 1/2 hr ago. Looks nice enough. I like the split tailgate that opens like double doors. Unfortunately this fairly new mini-truck had double doors that no-longer aligned.
My brother ālovesā my Mav. Heās a car collector so he heard the name āMaverickā and had a totally different reaction (not a positive one). He āthinksā he had never seen one⦠but now that he is very interested, he sees them all the time.
Who knew there was a compact pickup until you happened upon it? Hyundai would have turned me away from the idea and Ford wasnāt advertising it āat allā!
Changan has that upside down Acura logo. Truck looks like a Tacoma in person. 150 blazing diesel HP. I do like the anchor hooks (option) āoutsideā of the bed. Maybe in another 10 years or so it may be tolerable.
