  1. No Toyota Compact trucks in the future.

That’s when the .9 cents mattered. Get rid of that stupid fraction thing!!! Sure, 14.9cents vs 15.9cents…. I was fooled!
  2. Ford Roadside Nightmare

Was this the NJ Turnpike? Does Agero have a contract with NJT? My daughter had a similar Agero story with her Hyundai, but Ford should be Better!
  3. No Toyota Compact trucks in the future.

This is a good point, Kevin. I downsized 3 times heading towards retirement. Lots of helpful donations. Had the money to buy what I wanted. Don't miss any of it! Maverick owners IMHO did not buy for excess, but the XL owners especially knew the deal.
  4. Super Bowl 60

    We need more Shakira 😁!!!
  5. No Toyota Compact trucks in the future.

In the early 90s you could get the 2for$2 Big Macs at MacDonalds. Prices have increased faster than the paycheck.
  6. Super Bowl 60

Skakira starred in 2020, alongside Jennifer Lopez and featured Bad Bunny as a guest performer. But that was a long time ago LOL.
  7. Rival Santa Cruz to be cancelled

Same….once Hyundai got involved in the 90s they changed Kia into something Kia ā€œwas notā€. The original Kia’s got phased out for the non-Hyundai competitor Soul and the Jetta hunter 1st generation Forte (I believe that’s when the former Audi A series design engineer was sent in by Mr Hyundai)
  8. Super Bowl 60

The commercials (except one), the halftime, the game….. I just couldn’t watch the whole thing. Congrats Seabird defense. I did complete the whole Puppy Bowl game… some decent commercials too. I remember when watched sports, not watched the betting sites.
  9. No Toyota Compact trucks in the future.

Maybe we see some more sales now because so many people are just starting to discover them (but thats about another post). It’s still one of the best deals out there IMO.
  10. šŸ™‹‍ā™‚ļø What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

I thought you may have been putting up a gator wall.
  11. The worst deals on new cars right now The Ford Maverick?

I think Ben Kesslen may be a fabricated person. Or he’s the ā€œone guyā€ who has the dubious distinction of owning an Outlander Sport. Went to get rid of it and found it has no value, so creating this ā€œbaitā€ was one way of trying to increase his trade-in value šŸ¤”šŸ™‚
  12. The worst deals on new cars right now The Ford Maverick?

This article may not be fake news, but purely incorrect and lazy reporting. Please note: Bots hate being called fake and may seek revenge. The Outlander Sport? Really???

Welcome from šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¼ Curacao! My final two pics for MY24 were the Ridgeline RTL and Mav Hybrid XLT. There is no head-to-head comparison here. The RTL was loaded with a great interior. The Maverick was simple, affordable, and fit my needs perfectly. I also don’t mind recalls if Ford wants to get it...
  14. It's official. Toyota is swooping in for the kill.

The Scout brand is expected for 2027. Nice to see the name back, but it will be $60k+ https://www.scoutmotors.com/
  15. No Toyota Compact trucks in the future.

I loved the Fiskar but fortunately didn’t pull the trigger. I checked out the Karma at a shopping mall kiosk. I’ve only seen the slate on line. Are people more ā€œtrustingā€ when there are dealerships to visit?
  16. SLATE Truck Debut! Convertible From Pickup to SUV

I went to look at the Yugo at the Philly car show. By the time I visited, I think the salesman had heard enough and just kept his humor about it. He didn’t even offer to sell me one. Being a cheap explorer, I also test drove a 1st year Hyundai Excel. Roomy, good paint… OK! Pulled onto Route 1...
  17. Mini truck wars!

A friend drives one (I think 2023 which may be a Duster). That’s how I learned swear words in Dutch! I test drove a new 2024 and it was not built well. I guess 2025s broke the 150bhp ceiling. I’m so glad I didn’t buy that Renault Fuego back in the day… even at 40% off. If I bought here, I...
  18. Mini truck wars!

Several MTC members are in locations with many choices in compact trucks. In my case, the Mav was not a choice here. After looking at all the world has to offer, it was worth buying the Maverick from the USA and putting it in a container for its long boat ride home. There really is no...
  19. Never heard of the Maverick PU

Let me take this one one bad step further. This was installed ā€œunderā€ the drivers seat of a 1972 VW Beetle Convertible (so I keep the car looking original). THEN I found an FM module that was powered by the 8-track player. Just insert and connect the antenna cable. I liked changing stations...
