I'm over 12k and still happy with my purchase.
If @Ford Motor Company is listening, I'm still not happy about the paint flaking off, but I guess I just have to live with that.
Yes, black is usually negative, but if you're referring to the packaging of the item listed from Amazon, be careful as what you're doing isn't the intended purpose for speaker connectors.
As for the spade connectors, yes. You'll need to cut and replace the smaller connector with one that fits...
To clarify, yes, I'm aware points can be used at my local dealer. Unfortunately, the dealers I've all spoken with locally all are selling the hitch at MSRP. Multiple online vendors list the hitch for less, and I'd prefer to pay a lesser amount so that I may use the points for additional items as...
I'm looking to order a hitch for my maverick and wanted to check in and see if Fairway was still the best bet, or if folks had luck with any other online vendors.
Thanks!
So that's the thing with the Nokians - they're technically LRR tires, so perfect for the hybrid.
We have them on the wife's Prius and absolutely love them. Planning on putting them on the Maverick once I get it on some lowering springs.
I haven't seen anyone else with one, but I did order one today. I'll update once it arrives.
Edit: I knew I recognized the Skene name! They're well known in the motorcycle industry for their lighting. I'm even more excited now to get the brackets!
OP- truck looks great! Exactly what I’m looking for.
I guess I’ll wait for the springs, after all. Any idea when they’ll be commercially available?
I have them installed. Yes, they are stick on and I've always been a hater of stick on ones, as well. The Weathertech in channel ones are so nice, but not available for the Maverick.
Anyhow, install is quick and easy- the front tab slips in behind the trim for the side view mirror. I think that...
Nope! Check out the install info, here: https://assets.curtmfg.com/masterlibrary/13504/installsheet/13504_INS.pdf
Trimming of a few things is required, though.
Not a bad option, but for the price, I'd rather do the extra work and install the factory hitch for a cleaner install.
I finally got around to installing the resistors last weekend.
Pretty easy to do and the fast indicator noise is gone, which is a relief.
I'll grab some pics for you when I get back home, later in the week.
