This is my experience too. I get a touch worse than you but i have a couple hundred pounds of tools in my truck almost always lol i’ve looked at the tremors a bit.. i dont see why theyd be substantially worse on fuel than the 4k package mavs… i know it has a 1ā€ lift and different tires… but...
  2. Have a Maverick on Order, decided to borrow one on Turo to see what I think. It wasn't what I hoped it would be

It has basically the same engine as the gti with more weight lol why would you expect it to be quicker? And yes… sport mode is a computer deleting shifts… Thats what a drive mode is lol an adjustment in computer settings. This isn’t F1 lol you don’t have control over the number of horses at your...
  3. Black cab + 22" wheels + lowering springs on 2-tone Maverick

Interesting. You made a range rover maverick haha nice work
  4. Maverick as a work truck / in a trade? Show yours

I’m interested to hear from those of you who are using your maverick as a work truck in a trade. I recognize this isnt it’s intended purpose lol but for those who care, here’s my experience so far: As a Millwright i dont need my vehicle to carry material. Just tools basically. I work with...
  5. I went to see the 112,000 mile Maverick! Wear & tear condition report.

The mustang on the lift probably has the same milage haha
  6. Trip review: Maverick AWD vs. 6” of snow on commute

Correct! There is actually no manual lock option on the maverick. Its all computerized. It engages them gradually depending on what it thinks youre trying to do and if it thinks youll need more grip for whatever that is lol seemingly different drive modes affect the algorithm. Sport mode keeps...
  7. Trip review: Maverick AWD vs. 6” of snow on commute

no way! Haha learn something new every day. Its definitely a common part of the vernacular up here
  8. Trip review: Maverick AWD vs. 6” of snow on commute

not for winter. Just some goodyear winters. Nothing fancy
  9. Trip review: Maverick AWD vs. 6” of snow on commute

Ya that was interesting to me too. The other drive modes are really FW biased. I think this forum is pretty hybriid focused honestly, to your first point. Most eco members left once they got their trucks, which we all did within 4-8 months for the most part. I mostly stick around to see what...
  10. Trip review: Maverick AWD vs. 6” of snow on commute

It still helps keep you planted. For this report i had roughly 200lbs of tools in the back
  11. Trip review: Maverick AWD vs. 6” of snow on commute

This afternoon our area in southern Ontario got hit with 6-8ā€ of snow. So i got to test out the AWD system for my hour long (in good weather) commute home. The storm was fairly sudden, with lots of drifts. Multiple stuck vehicles passed on the way home. Maverick was incredible. I just have...

So the bronco i had for 3 days. I dont know what trim it was (because i cant remember) but it had the 1.6eco. I believe you need one of the top 2 trims to get the 2.0 aka the true mav equivelant. I have to say i missed the extra power. The 2.0 is IMO perfect for the Maverick/bronco sport size...
  13. AWD with 4K tow group mileage VS AWD without

Ive got a 22’ XLT 4k AWD. 15k. Miles. I get 30mpg summer and so far about 27mpg winter. Winter i remote start for 15ish minutes at least once/day, plus winter tires and conditions. My driving is probably 85% highway

Just bronco vs hybriid? I have an eco and spend a few days with a bronco sport… lemme know if you want that comp. since… yknow, theyre more comparable lol
  15. Two thirds of truck owners don't tow, one third truck owners don't haul

For the record: it would be quite a costco trip to qualify as ā€˜hauling’ šŸ˜‚ not hating on your truck usage lol its all good. Just a comical line you had
  16. Two thirds of truck owners don't tow, one third truck owners don't haul

Yep yep. I assume these numbers are closer to 75% maverick owners dont do these things more than once/year lol but thats the market this little baby was designed for. It does both just fine though. I use mine for work every day.
  17. Ford Maverick Hybrid - NEW Tractor Mode Unlocked ( 3000 miles)

He got me too lol i thought this was a forscan post šŸ˜‚
  18. Frozen tailgate

This happened to me too lol id say use ice scraper, but if youre like me, your ice scraper is in your box šŸ˜‚ mine wasnt too bad though. Just a bit of jiggling and it was free
  19. NEW Member. New Maverick Owner. 2 Problems with 2.0 XLT.

What? Why would you check any of these things before allignment. Especially on a new vehicle. Alignment can be human error. Everything you meantioned would be part malfunction
  20. NEW Member. New Maverick Owner. 2 Problems with 2.0 XLT.

Your issues are likely tied together. Missallignment to that extent affects mpg… as well as tire wear naturally. Not certain what youre talking about with your suspension though lol anyways as per your bit about whether or not its a common problem, not for me, and its not a highly complained...
