Common misconception about the CV axles they fail on bone stock eco and hybrid alike. Ford needs to recall them as they are clearly defective. Time will tell if the problem has been addressed with 25 model (doubt it).
It will be the new norm if we keep overpaying, remember just a few years ago MSRP was a horrible deal. I didn't get a 25% raise this year and see no reason to give ford 25%. Vehicle prices across the board need a course correction.
☝️This guy nailed it! Not to mention a lot of people are fed up with being taken advantage of by these car companies. We as consumers keep accepting these insane price increases it will only get worse.
I think your missing my point. Regardless if it starts at 15 or 25 mph that's quite a difference from starting a car at idle. I don't really pay that close attention when the engine springs to life but I know it's not when I start it first thing in the a.m. and it starts at a higher rpm than I...
It's how mine works, daily driver and engine doesn't start until under full load 20+ mph not sure of the rpm as we don't have a gauge. But... it's well above the sub 1k rpm of a typical cold start.
I do every 5kish for the reasons stated in the video. Not to mention you typically Don't get a "normal" startup (engine idle speed) the engine doesn't startup until under full load 30+ mph. As far as can tell there's no mechanism to circulate oil in electric mode.
I personally have no regrets as the price increase on these trucks are insane. Buying the same truck model year 25 would come to 32k+ as my 2023 was 27k+ this is not including awd. I personally think awd is overrated but would like to have 4k tow. But the juice not worth the squeeze at...
