The reasons I feel more confident about the Maverick is that is reused parts. So Engine, Trans, Diff and Frame are from previous cars ie Escape, Edge, Bronco Sport, EcoSport.
The Bronco had one platform to pull from and they added, two new roof options, a new transmission, three new diffs, a...
Ford has not released the part schematics for the Maverick yet. But with it being in the steering wheel it would need the new pod and a flash. Depending on the shop I’d say round about figure of $500 up to $1k. Of course no one will know for sure until they release the part info.
If you go to the build list, it shows a First Edition with Ecoboost with a Vin already from a 6-30 order. I just don't think many people come back to put the info on there.
Im not sure how its going to work in the Maverick. But with the Bronco they are focusing on FE to try and get them out before anything else. FE maybe the reason the rest of the commodities are limited it has caused the Broncos to be pushed further out since they are reserving the hardest to get...

Im checking to see if this would be of any use before I go and put it together, I work in Ford parts at a dealer in Tennessee. We are not a car dealership so I can't help on pricing for Maverick sales, Ive got mine ordered at another dealer in town with D plan. My dealership is all commercial...
I work in parts for Ford and I can tell you that one thing ive noticed about Ford is how many different harnesses they use for the audio stacks. Whether it be speaker systems or the screens. For example on my Ranger there are almost 25 harnesses just for the speaker system for the three trims...
If you use this mode you will need to set your climate the day before, so if you know it s going to be freezing in the morning before turning the truck off set the max heat so defrost is on.
You can use the factory remote. There are two options. Hitting lock three times or lock, unlock, lock. The benefits of the second is the horn doesn't honk. If you hit lock three times it will honk. If you don't care it doesn't matter which one.
Here is a video on the F150.
Yes I would say if you can get 5G or 4G LTE you'll be fine. Its a little buggy sometimes but it'll work for you if you don't want to get the add on. Plus give it 6 months if you still don't like it they will have the modules on amazon for $50-75 and its plug and play.
It sends a message back telling you it started and has a timer on it. Normal is 15 minutes, and you can extend it one more time for a total of 30 minutes.
Im not sure which tower it works on. I want to say AT&T but I'm not sure. If it doesn't the module is really easy to install and it works on the key by hitting the lock button. Ive installed three or four on different Ford cars. Didn't do it on the Ranger with the App since I didn't want to...
