If you want to replace the tailgate tie down bracket that had to be removed to fit the assist strut, I've made a few that I'm selling.
Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. I have a thread here in the For Sale forum.
Installing the tailgate assist strut requires removal of the factory tailgate tie down bracket which would now contact it when closing the gate. If you'd like to replace the tie down with one that doesn't have this interference, I've made some that I'm selling...
I love the tailgate strut. But don't let the addition of it create another pet peeve.

Correct. It's a blank panel, you'll have to cut the notch for the receiver and the wiring plug. The forum search feature will bring up threads with better instructions and I even recall seeing someone who shared a cut template they'd drawn up.
Agreed. But I want to add some food for thought here.
See the highlighting in the post above... it's more commonly the drivers themselves that are unsafe on the road, not the stuff they're driving. I've seen the nicest & newest vehicles ever with distracted inattentive drivers at the wheel...
YES!
When I replaced my wheels, I couldn't justify spending ~$225 for another set of sensors when my eyeballs and a pressure gauge will do the same thing. And they've been all I've needed prior to now for all the years I've been driving.
And it takes almost no effort to use Forscan to turn off...
Citgo Supergard full synthetic also has the proper spec, isn't in the first post's list. Fleet Farm stores run it on sale, and it can have a rebate also. Ended up with 5-quart jugs on Black Friday for $10 each.

I added the strut for a few reasons. There have been a few times that I have opened the tailgate and unintentionally let it fall to an open position under its own weight. I really don't like that very unexpected sh*t-my-pants BANG! Someday I'll be older where that has to be a heart attack risk...

+1 for Sprayaway, works great, been using it for years and years.
For the inside of the windshield - I hope everyone has one of these because of how well they extend your reach, get into the corners, and make the job easy. I don't ever want to clean the inside of the windshield again without...
I tow a dolly to track events held by my local sports car club (HPDE which is non-racing and just for fun).
The car weighs 1300 lbs, and the dolly around 400 lbs, so it works nicely within what the hybrid is rated...
I think it's a laminate roller available from any hardware store, or Amazon has plenty of them as well. It did not come with it. You can install it without one but it sure does help you be confident that you've got the best adhesion/grip that you can have from the sticky tape.
I'd wondered how...
There are a lot of varieties of covers available on Amazon, but I went with a Rok Block.
I don't know if I'd call it "temporary" because once that adhesive is on, it's going to take serious effort to get it off.
Pics & more info on this here in my build thread.
I don't have much of an opinion on mudflaps other than if they poke out of the wheelwell farther than the tire does, I can't get past how bad that looks. Not sure why. Makes a truck look cheap and not well-designed, IMO.

I have a Truxedo Pro X15 cover. It's one of the pricier roll-ups, but it has more of a quality feel than the others and I love it. I have a post in my build thread with photos and pros/cons here.
