If I was in your spot, I would feel exactly the same.
And why I think Ford has taken a more active role this time to shepherd rollover orders through their system instead of relying on the dealership.
Is your 24MY order at least a Pri 2?
I felt your pain about six months ago when I approached 18 months with no VIN and I had ordered an XLT. But IMHO the issue is the allocations each dealership has been allotted. Has your dealership provided you that number and where your at in their backlog?
I had the distinction of being the...
With less than 50k in the order bank unscheduled and appears Ford scheduling around 10k each month, it should only take months (barring the strike's impact) to process these orders. I believe the biggest issue is each dealership's allocations.
It took 18 months before I received a VIN on my...
Final week of November for our second order, which was completely unexpected after waiting 18 months for our first order to receive a VIN on a XLT Hybrid. They definitely have allocations. (y)
Those 75 allocations were filled about a day after the order banks opened (I have one of those orders). But they are looking at the possibly of opening up to more orders.
1k off MSRP - Granger
The order that I placed with Granger has already received a VIN and production date.
The set I received does not cover the door sill. They fit much like the Weathertech floor liners we had in our other vehicles.
However, I noticed in your original post the illustration of the page you show from RealTruck of the Husky liners does show an overlap of the door sill. But that...
I wanted that set as well and ordered it from RealTruck back in the first of August. They have been delaying shipping the item for weeks. Last week, I received this latest update on shipment:
So I cancelled the order and instead placed an order for a set from SmartLiner, which I received two...
Just this year, I've begun to see a handful of them here on Florida's East Coast. Believe there is another in our subdivision now that Ford is producing them in greater numbers. You will be a real novelty in your part of the woods. Expect heads to turn. I still get approving nods from folks...
My original MY22 Hybrid order took 18 months to be scheduled (as a MY23). Our MY24 Hybrid new order took less than two months to be scheduled at the very end of November and expected delivery the first of next year.
Once your scheduled by Ford (IMO, the most difficult hurtle to surmount) your...
You are able to build a 2023 and 2024 on the Ford website to see the price difference. I already have a 2023. The 2024 we ordered and is scheduled is for my son and he wants the Luxury package. Be aware, the Hybrid is a $1500 option in 2024 so there is an increase in the cost.
Good Luck!
