FYI All, I tried the remote start this morning and everything was.. fine? Only differrence is i didnt have the heater on, so Im going to try it with the heater on tmrw morning, maybe its the heater causing the issue?

I have never had a remote start vehicle, so I am EXTREMELY paranoid to be honest. But I dont know what to even expect tbh.

Thats the thing, I had some googling kind of point me to possibly a cat issue, but how would this happen. It definately smelled SUPER rich, hence the unburned fuel issue. But when I tested remote start at work in the parkinglot, worked fine, ran for 10 mins, then powered off.

It does not have a bedliner, spray in or otherwise? SO Is it affected by the recall?

Can you even do that with a Hybrid? Hell I dont even know how to jumpstart the thing if I had to.
