Both the '24 and the '25 were traveling 90 mph at the end of the quarter mile. That suggests the faster 0-60 time of the '25 resulted more from better traction than more power.
Thoughts after reading this thread.
1. I agree the results should be expected to skew older here in this forum compared to social media sites. Especially Reddit.
2. Many men choose full sized trucks because of the "macho" image, but more older retired guys are past that and likely to...
At some point I will likely buy an EV because I could charge it overnight in my garage. I probably would buy used, since they depreciate a lot. I would need to research insurance costs, since I've heard they are higher for EVs. I would keep an ICE vehicle for road trips.
Obviously, Ford recognized this would be the case for most customers. I'm 64 and remember the original Maverick. It was a plain, boring car, so you didn't miss much, lol. Maverick was actually a poor name choice for that car, and I think it works much better for this truck.
