The side markers will just pop out if you follow the directions in the manual. Just use a stiff plastic trim tool or a metal one wrapped in painters tape (to protect the paint). It takes a bit of force but they literally just pop out. Much easier than digging around behind the wheel well

Can now confirm that the tail lights work flawlessly in a Lariat. My truck is now all lasfit LEDs, except for the side markers which I still need to do. My only minor gripe is I think the front blinkers may be a little too bright, but I'll live with it
