I've seen posts where it doesn't line up in that position either, and a lot of pics where there is slack in one of the straps or whatever you call the things that hold the sides of the tailgate. Definitely not a deal breaker or anything .
Thank you, I have been scouring posts and you tube for videos on the hybrid driving in snow and haven't seen any. I have driven cars many years with FWD and for the most part have had pretty good luck but didn't know how a truck would do in the snow.
I made this out of pbc pipe for my F150 and it works awesome and I plan on making one to fit my Maverick. It keeps my poles up in the air and protected from breakage and still am able to use the bed for other things and us easily removable.
I was checking the grill out at my dealership yesterday because I seen this post and the grill part up there seemed pretty darn solid, hard to believe a rock did that and went unnoticed.
How easy is it to remove the bed extender ? I can't seem to grasp what the uses would be for that thing unless it is easily removed and installed. Seems like you would have to remove it to put anything in the bed and then reinstall, I'm sure I must be missing something in my thinking.
