As I have just installed it I really can't personally attest on the durability of it but I must say it is very comfortable. I am the kind of guy who researches stuff like crazy before purchasing and I have seen nothing but good reviews on this product.
If I remember correctly it's like a stretchy band on either side of the seat that goes under and just wraps around a spot under the seat. You should be able to just feel your way with your hands to unhook it.
It's a plastic type material kind of like a boat has and has great padding under it. Feels very soft and is tough and durable from the reviews I have read
I totally agree, I've read that it can take the punishment of, gravel, mulch ect. But if I ever have to haul something like that I will just throw a tarp on top of it and get to work.
Yes, mine are loose as well but I honestly don't rest my head on them much at all and it doesn't bother me. I seem to remember reading somewhere were a guy just stuffed some extra padding of some sort up in them.
It is not cut out but it has the outline showing where to cut. You just have to take your time and go to you tube and watch some install videos . You got this !
I installed a bed cover today that I bought before I received the truck but was waiting to install the Bedrug first. I'm very happy with how it looks as well. I'm pretty much done with accessories for now, lol.
I would have to say yes. If you think you might be interested in one go to the Real Truck site and type in Bedrug full liner and you can read all about them and also read reviews.
I'm retired and also have a Ford f150 if I need to haul gravel, dirt etc. I wanted something to protect from scratches and soft to sit on and easy on the knees. The material is very durable, do a little research.
