  1. How Does One Remove These Sun Visor Warning Stickers?

Thanks for the tips. Removed the visors and used a hair dryer to heat up stickers. Stickers are a plastic film and comes off in one piece. Hest and peel, repeat. Peel off slowly at a sharp angle. I used isopropyl alcohol for adhesive removal. Lay a soak paper towel on the adhesive for a...
  2. Boost/Vacuum gauge connection

One thing I'm going to add to this installation will be additional support on the "T" side of the catch can. Never liked the single mounting hole idea for this assembly, and especially now with the weight of the outlet hose moved further away from the mount point. Temporally, I'm using...
  3. Boost/Vacuum gauge connection

FHFR3Maverick: Yes, it is connected to the Outlet side which connects to the Intake Manifold port. After a 1000 miles since the catch can was installed, I only have a trace of oil (approx. 3K miles on the engine). However, my driving has been extremely conservative. Only a few full throttle...
  4. Tire pressure should be what?

Generally, cold tire pressure is based on an ambeint temperature of 68°F. The +/- 1 psi per 10° difference in actual temperature is a pretty good rule of thumb. Just be aware that tires heat quickly when exposed to sunshine and even short exposures can easily skew your readings by several psi...
  5. Boost/Vacuum gauge connection

While I wait for my cubby trim plate to arrive, I mounted the gauge using 1 inch thick, high density electrostatic packing foam. Made it a little oversized to squeeze into cubby hole. Used a 2 1/8" hole saw bit to drill a slightly larger hole than the 2" required to allow for compression...
  6. Boost/Vacuum gauge connection

Yes it is plug and play. High quality hoses and connectors make it simple to install (and remove if necessary when taking it in for service). No hose clamps! First time installing is a little tricky but the manufacture has a very good video on removing the stock short hose and dealing with...
  7. Boost/Vacuum gauge connection

Here are some pics of gauge with Vac, Boost and Catch Can mod.
  8. Boost/Vacuum gauge connection

As it turns out, it seems to work just fine. I'll add some pics when I finish the install
  9. Boost/Vacuum gauge connection

Is there any reason I can't connect my mechanical boost/vacuum gauge with a "T" to the intake manifold side of my catch can? I have the UPR can and it sure would make for clean installation. Thanks
