Not my first truck, but first Ford. I was a big Subaru fan before. My parents had various Fords as I was growing up, some with questionable mechanical issues. I'm hoping between better QA and good service support at dealer that any issues are quickly addressed.

Interest rate, no (got 4.9%, could likely get 3.x% at my local Credit Union), but did get price protection through SmartVincent, so I didn't push for the interest rate. And no ADM. They also accepted my Farm Bureau $500 certificate with no issues.

Mine was 'Built' 6/14, shipped 6/15 and delivered to dealer on 7/13. I have SIBL so surprised that didn't delay shipment. ETA: Original delivery estimate was end of July.. I may have been checking the order tracker daily and saw it delivered. E-mailed dealer and they confirmed it.

Not yet, but I plan to have a local place hardwire my front camera (hopefully to the system above the rear view mirror), and I'll see if they can route the cable into the back. I'm thinking behind the driver's side rear seat is best, it'll be out of the way. Truck bed might block some but still...

Don't worry about it! The plastic tool was super soft plastic, think I need something a little harder (don't say it). The rest of the lights look fantastic so that's enough for me. Even though I can't see them while driving. :cool:

Like was said, brighter and last longer - in bad conditions (heavy fog, rain, snow) they make it MUCH easier for people to see you. Halogens dim over time and aren't known for their durability.. Plus it looks better, more modern, more "luxurious".. IMO.

Yeah I gave it a try today with the plastic pry bar for the side marker lights... I was actually bending the plastic "spatula".. and was starting to see paint flake around the marker light opening. Argh. I'm getting my first oil change soon (just under 2,000 miles so far), maybe I'll ask how...

Purchased the full Lasfit LED kit for Lariat and installed today - EXCEPT for the side markers. I was doing a full car wash then hood deflector install and didn't want to fight with those side markers.. Might just leave the factory ones for now. Everything else was an easy installation, amazing...

I believe all Mavericks have LED headlights. Unless you mean the DRL "signature lights" on Lariat? I gotta say I'm not really a fan of the thick Lariat DRLs - compared to the thinner version on the Escape or F150s. And don't get me started on the lack of LEDs in the rest of the exterior...
