  1. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

I live in Vegas, and know I will use it.
  2. EPA and Ford's process to getting EPA approval for Hybrid Maverick OKTB

I’m sure Ford does not want a fleet of unsellable vehicles parked in Mexico.
  3. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

Whether you think the resistive heat is good or not, the Maverick Hybrid has it. I assume like the Tacoma and my Audi, it produces heat before the engine is warmed up. Unlike the Tacoma and Audi, Ford has made the aux electric heat quite large.
  4. Truth about Hybrid Maverick orders - not delayed says Maverick team

What Maverick that doesn’t have EPA approval has been sold?
  5. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

Because a heat pump is not creating heat, it is simply transferring it.
  6. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

    Google is your friend. https://www.finehomebuilding.com/2020/04/08/how-efficient-are-heat-pumps-really#:~:text=A%20heat%20pump%20has%20a%20higher%20efficiency—%20usually,that%20well-designed%20ground-%20source%20heat-pump%20systems%20are%20rare.%29
  7. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

I’m not going to argue thermodynamics, but I live and breathe electricity. Every bit of electricity you put into a resistive heat is converted to heat, resulting in a 100% efficiency. With a hybrid that will regenerate on deceleration, the question is will it create an excess of electricity upon...
  8. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

Heat pumps have an efficiency of over 100%. Usually between 200-300. If you look at the yellow tag on a resistive heater it will say 100%.
  9. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

Electric heaters have a 100% efficiency rating. Also see my post above. There is an auxiliary electric heater in the Mav.
  10. Truth about Hybrid Maverick orders - not delayed says Maverick team

I try to remain optimistic, but anyone who says hybrids are not delayed is wrong. Many of us had estimated delivery dates that were taken from us. You cannot tell me they are not delayed when mine has been built for several weeks sitting in Mexico instead of in transit or in my garage.
  11. Drive belt on the 2.5L engine

The owners manual shows a 40a circuit for resistance heating in the hybrid only.
  12. Co-Pilot360 question.

I had these features on my Tacoma. I didn’t order the 360 because I had all this stuff shut off on my Tacoma. The lane keep alert was annoying, and I NEVER change lanes without physically looking first. I am scared of the drivers we are becoming when backing up we are so focused on a screen, we...
  13. Aftermarket locking differential for hybrid Maverick?

There is no front or rear end to put a locker in. The transmission acts as both. The traction control can simulate a limited slip differential by applying brakes to slipping wheels, but as others have said, this is a car with a bed. A Ranger might be a better choice for you.
  14. Can Dealers raise the MSRP’s once our trucks are delivered?

There are no hybrids yet. There is not an ok to buy yet due to epa. They cannot be shipped. They are all sitting in Mexico with mine.
  15. Soft paint? Rock chips after 400 miles

Well, I guess it’s good my hybrid is curing in the hot Mexican sun right now.
  16. Had a verbal deal at MSRP, but dealer reneged and wants $5k over MSRP

Or maybe the next person in line thinks it’s a fair deal compared to what else is out there. Shop around. If I totaled my current truck, I would end up paying ADM on something, or a ridiculously priced used vehicle.
  17. Had a verbal deal at MSRP, but dealer reneged and wants $5k over MSRP

I think you are wrong. I am happy to pay MSRP on something I think has value. Just because you used to get money off, or incentives, does not mean that’s the way it is. I feel the maverick is a great deal for the money compared to everything else out there. You have 2 choices, order at msrp (or...
  18. Truth about Hybrid Maverick orders - not delayed says Maverick team

It’s not chips. Several of us have Hybrids complete waiting on epa
  19. Had a verbal deal at MSRP, but dealer reneged and wants $5k over MSRP

I’m assuming this was a stock unit. Although I don’t condone it, I can understand needing to pay overhead in a time where vehicles are hard to come by may necessitate ADM.
