Modern cars don’t charge like older ones. I had a CRV that was having problems charging. There was a TSB out for a reflash that fixed everything. Alternators are smart these days. A lot of them only charge on deceleration.
Epa rates for the most popular package, which would not be the lower gear ratio. The tow package gets the same rating, but not necessarily the same mileage. Here is an interesting read:

It means the hybrid model year 2022 is sold out. You can order a 2023 in August, but unless anything changes, you cannot get an all wheel drive hybrid.
I ended up selling my Jeep for a ridiculous amount of money and needed a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. By the time you build a Mav with 4wd, fx4 and tow, the bargain is no longer as big, so I bought a Tacoma at msrp.
