  1. [Dealer Memo] Not all 2022 Mavericks will be built. Update on Maverick Retail Order Scheduling, Customer Options and Order Amendment

From the Memo: "While Ford still plans to produce a limited number of 2022 model year Mavericks for dealer stock inventory, the priority for remaining production will go to unscheduled Maverick retail orders based on the date they were submitted by the customer’s Ford dealership, vehicle model...
  2. [Dealer Memo] Not all 2022 Mavericks will be built. Update on Maverick Retail Order Scheduling, Customer Options and Order Amendment

Probably been asked already so I apologize --Somebody (who actually knows) make sense of this. So if Long McArthur has an allocation of 30 units a month and has 300 units not scheduled yet, wouldn't that mean it will be 10 months to get all the orders scheduled? If Philemon's dealer has 5 units...
  3. Analysis of February Scheduling

Oh crap, that's awesome! Thanks, and we'll take anything you throw at us.
  4. Analysis of February Scheduling

Thanks How hard would it be to arrange the orders by "order date"? Personally I believe it may help members who have not been scheduled.
  5. Analysis of February Scheduling

You could be correct but gee, that would be a strange question to ask if you didn't order a Lariat?
  6. Analysis of February Scheduling

I too thank you for doing this. I've been begging for this type of info because it gives a much better picture of were we stand in the scheduling so far. I am one of those that ordered a Lariat Hybrid with no options except a Roll-up Tonneau cover. That was removed from my order a while back...
  7. Hybrid Tech's future

Sure, just walk outside and take a deep breath . . . it's free! And like I said before is I am just the messenger. It's not about "True Size", it's about density. You and the guy from Utah somehow think these companies are investing in technology to profit from the EV trend (that governments...
  8. Hybrid Tech's future

Just debating that you're saying I said something I didn't - and you're doing it again. Nobody is saying "everybody" is or will ever drive an EV. The thread is about the "Future Technology". I have an old V12 Jaguar that I plan on driving until I run out of gas myself. There people who don't...
  9. Hybrid Tech's future

Never said it would be everywhere? Don't think anyone is saying that but you. It'll be in the populous areas as is everything else like 5G. My granddaughter can't even get Cable or WiFi. As for pad charging, that will be a consumer 'option' or you'll just get the standard charger with the...
  10. Analysis of February Scheduling

[ Absolutely . . . We say 'salesman" but in this case they're just the agent for the dealership, like you said. Did anybody go into a dealership and look around and have a salesman come up and ask "can I help you" ? . . . Nope. Did anybody pick up a Ford brochure and say, hey, I like this...
  11. Hybrid Tech's future

Well, more like "2025" for pad charging seeing it already exist in use. As for electrifying roads, yeah it would be a while but certainly before "2050". There are many existing test roads in Europe and the one here (mentioned previously) is a joint venture between Magment and a University that...
  12. Hybrid Tech's future

I posted a while back on this forum (another thread) about the Wireless Charging Technology that will change the game to charge EVs.. I have followed this technology since I first saw it in Vegas at the CES show in 2005. There has been quite a few companies working on this around the globe. The...
  13. Hybrid Tech's future

All Electric vs Hybrid: For me and a lot of Floridians who have been through some rough Hurricane seasons the Hybrid is about as perfect as it gets. In 2004-2005 I evacuated my family four times. With 1000 people a day moving to Florida that situation would be much worse than it was in "04-05"...
  14. 📬 02/17 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

Been watching a lot of these videos sitting here with my great grandson a couple of days a week. I thought this might get you and a few others through another week. It is pretty sad Ford has reduced us to this crap!
  15. ⏱ Maverick Scheduling Next Week (2/14) For Production Build Week 4/18/22

May I suggest . . . any Maverick that rolls off the line after July 1st and before December 31st be a 2022-1/2 MY. Maybe it's time Ford brings this concept back just for this fiasco! This won't pacify everyone but could ease some with concerns with value of late-year production units. Breaking...
  16. Order

Stock orders are assigned priority codes 20-80. Retail orders are assigned priority codes 10-19. You'll have to ask your dealer about that.
  17. Order

According to my Uncle who retired from FORD, these are Retail orders and they default to priority Code 19 until a Dealer changes it. The highest priority that a Dealer can use for a retail order is Code 10. A Code 02 would have to be changed by a Ford Zone Manager and scheduled by the Regional...
  18. So, you are now Director of Maverick Colors

I agree and I think that all available colors would be easier to accept if we had any choice of interior other than blue. How many of us selected the exterior based on the single available interior color? It certainly effected my decision. Interestingly the Lariat interior was based on a pair...
