  1. Is it worth waiting for a 23' Maverick?

Why don't you put a few hundred down on a refundable deposit for a MY23 and then go about your life like the Mav didn't exist? If the Maverick shows up, you can buy it and if you find another car you like better, buy that one and back away from the Maverick.
  2. Headlights confusion for oncoming drivers?

I don't think I'd bother to count your headlights and then decide to either flash or not flash my lights at you so much as I'd flash my lights to tell you that your lights are aimed too high. Your lights may be misaimed and you might want to ask your dealer to check the alignment.
  3. Creative Ideas for Dash Cubby Storage

    Best Idea yet!
  4. Already Pushed Back A Week

I stopped in at my dealer four days ago and was told my priority code had been changed from 19 to 02 and that I had a build date of Sept 26th. I was so excited I forgot to ask what my VIN was, so today I called Ford Customer Service and found out that my build date has already been pushed back a...
  5. Rough Start with my "New" 2022 Maverick XL Hybrid

If it matters, I get August and October mixed up more often than I'd care to admit.
  6. Maverick Hybrid electric mode limited

But still... There isn't a knob, switch or dial that puts the truck in "Electric Mode." Our driving habits influence the computer, but the computer runs the show.
  7. USB drive settings on radio

I think when I get my truck I'll need to borrow your grand daughter for an afternoon. I'm feeling nervous that it doesn't have a CD player.
  8. Extended range hybrid

That was just mean. Funny though.
  9. Why am I so excited......

I encourage you to do all the "research" you can, but don't spend any money until your truck is in shipment. You'll change your mind a dozen times between now and then about the things you just can't live without.
  10. Why am I so excited......

I was hoping for a four-month wait, and was ready for six. That's what we all believed last year, and I don't think it was a lie. It turned out to be wrong but it's what FoMoCo and everyone else really believed. Calling it a lie would mean a deliberate withholding of facts and I don't think that...
  11. ⏰ Maverick Scheduling Next Week (8/22) For Production Build Weeks 10/17 and 10/24

They will, or at least they think they will. I visited my dealer yesterday and was told I had a build date of Sept 26th. I know that doesn't really mean much while we're still in the middle of August, but at least Ford is planning to build my hybrid truck. Someday. Maybe in the near future...
  12. SUPER confused

I don't have personal experience but my dealer suggests, and empirical evidence supports, that it takes 6-8 weeks to get to wherever it's going after it's actually built.
  13. Maverick orders are getting scheduled today

I hope you get the exact truck you want, but I think FoMoCo would paint your truck Atlas blue and call it a 2023 without even blinking an eye if somehow it benefited them.
  14. Western Washington

    Essentially, nothing.
  15. Speedometer Odometer calibration

An extra 2-4 MPH at all speeds is super common. The trip meter seems accurate in most cars though. Just for the conversation: Wider tires are also larger in diameter and will effect your speedometer if the aspect ratio remains constant. i.e. 60% of 225mm is less than 60% of 245mm.
  16. New from Tejas....waiting for the order bank to start accepting orders

The order banks are going to open for both hybrid and EB Mavericks on Sept. 15th. Or they won't. It's frustrating that the rules seem to change almost weekly, but the latest info indicates 9/15/22 is the big day.
  17. Has anyone tried OpenPilot on the Maverick?

Okay guys, be easy on me. Use small words and type slowly. What does "Openpilot" do? What's the end goal here?
  18. Cubby installation and parts

Does the Lariat come with two cubbies?
