Change your oil at least once a year! Don't fool around with that, but...
If you put lots of miles on your Mav and the miles are "normal" then 5K oil changes are only better for the dealer's pocketbook.
I'm going to get one. It's in my Amazon cart as we speak.
It also comes in orange for the XLT folks amoung us, two patterns of Carbon Fiber, and - are you sitting down? - RED!
I'm guessing that about zero red ones will be sold worldwide. I mean, none! Not one single one. I'm not keen on fake...
We're going on a three-week car trip and will be in Utah in early March. I'm hoping that by having purchased tire cable chains I've somehow prevented snow from falling on any/all roads between Sedona, Arizona, and Bosie, Idaho this winter. I don't really want to use them at all, and I sure as...
Welcome to the MTC. You won't need the tailgate theft lock on your Lariet trim-level truck. This is just a personal opinion but I think the tie-down/bottle opener thingie you lose is more valuable than the strut you gain on this lightweight tailgate. And I couldn't agree more about the mirror...
FWIW: I just tried mine and it works perfectly. Better than the locks in my house or the older cars I've owned. Smooth as butter, with just enough resistance to let me know I'm actually doing something.
Generally speaking, I feel pretty smug that my Mav was built late in the MY22 cycle and has been trouble-free thus far, but this post and others like it make me a little worried the newer trucks might not be immune from electrical troubles.
Your scheduled build date will be adjusted at least three times before your truck is actually built of course, but being "Scheduled" is certainly better than not being scheduled. You're making progress. The truck is awesome, you're going to love it.
I think unless you personally are under the hood a lot I wouldn't install the hood strut. There have been dozens of posts here and on Facebook about the hood being out of alignment and causing troubles after the installation. And who even cares if the hired mechanic has to deal with a hood prop?
And it's probably my most favorite post that I've ever gotten to read on here.
And BTW, the V-8 in the OP would have to go in sideways and I kind of don't think that would work out real well.
I suppose in one minor way or another pretty much anything could be a factor, but the fact Ford can sell them as fast as they can make them would be a better reason.
Yeah, actually there is an update. A few days ago I drove 20 minutes in the rain to where I wanted to start my morning walk, walked for about 2.5 hours, and drove home again, all in the rain. I then wiped all the standing water off of the BacFlip so none of that would drip into the bed, and...
I have a Harley Davidson kind of friend that really doesn't understand why a four cylinder, 650cc bike with a 20 zillion rpm rev limit could possibly be faster than his 114 ci cruiser.
