My wife literally got a check from a class action lawsuit for $1.35 for some peace of technology that I'm sure cost over $500 at the time we bought it.
Of course Ford fought it. But we are talking about a battery. After the second one failed, I would have said "screw it" and went an bought one myself and then seriously considered other brands for my next vehicle.
Aren't lawyers more expensive than a new battery? Especially since most class-action lawsuits result in little more than a coupon to the actually affected consumers while the lawyers make bank.
While connected to your truck, go into settings on your phone and search for Android Auto. That should start the set-up process. You might need to delete any existing vehicles first.
My dealer has stock. So, they aren't flying off the truck like they used to. Combination of market saturation and higher interest rates. Those of us that really wanted one got ours by now. So, the average shopper should have an easier time just finding one.
Where is everyone's sense of wonder? Whenever I find a button on a vehicle I can't identify, I turn the vehicle on ... and press it. Unless Ford hid an ejector seat or a self-destruct mechanism, there is never going to be any harm and pushing it and finding out.
Even with EB, if you use physics to slow you down instead of hitting the brakes at the last moment can cause brakes to last a while. Last vehicle I drove got over 80K on a set.
