My driver side belt will snap back so hard/fast that I'm thinking I'll eventually break a window. The passenger side has a more normal pull. Haven't worked that hard on a fix yet and I notice that "retract too slow" seems to be a far more common problem on cars in general.
you make a good point, and there's really not anything else in the ford accessory list that I want so I should probably burn my ford points on a mat. Just have to wait for them to get back in stock.
Can you control the time-outs for these circuits using Forscan? I watched the Ford video for battery saver - since the maverick owners manual glosses over it - and the amount of time it keeps circuits active is far too long in my opinion. I don't need usb/power taps/headlights/etc running for...
Haven't had this problem yet on mine, but on my previous car a lot of problems were fixed by rebooting the phone. I'd also make sure you're on the latest iOS your phone will take. Also try a different lightning cord. If you have the OEM apple one handy all the better.
As I'm sitting there watching the far too, too many announcements that pop up on my display every time I turn it on, I wondered if the color of the truck on display is customized to what you're actually driving. Do blue truck people get a blue truck on the display? Mine if showing a silver/grey...
I wonder the same thing. It seems like with each car I buy, the fob keeps getting bigger. Does it really need to be this big or is it wanting to remind the customer constantly of what they're driving? Maybe there's a market for them to sell upgraded "miniature" fobs. Personally I'd gladly trade...
You have that problem with any brand's infotainment system nowadays. As soon as the car companies started routing non-sound functions through the head unit you pretty much negate anyone updating their system. Best you can do is bolt on better speakers and maybe aux amps, but you're stuck with...
Ugh. That's disappointing given how much they charge for these covers. It's also amazing (sarcasm) how none of the reviews of the product make mention of these foibles. Maybe I should just get the $900 syneticusa retractable cover with the built in t-slots. It may not be perfect either but for...
That's exactly what I want. RealTruck claimed I could combine the x4 and elevate rails but this seems like a cleaner install and possibly cheaper than the 2 products combined.
