Thanks for sharing the info about delaying production till November for mudguards. Gives me an idea when to expect mine.

It is growing on me, I am neutral at this point. Perhaps if the headlights weren't as tall height wise. No doubt somebody will have add-ons for this lil truck soon.

I was thinking about doing some 'bed' DIY projects. Maybe do a hard tonneau cover, some Youtube videos out there already. Or, maybe some bar/racks for camping gear.

Just thinking here... do they still sell rustproofing spray in a can? Buddy of mine used to spray his wheel well and floor plans with that stuff. That was years ago back in Ohio. A diy job might not be as good but I think it also might help.

Daily driver. Running errands and going to state parks/camping. Likely didn't need the AWD but occasionally, will be better prepared in snow and dirt roads.

Sad experience. Sorry you went through all that. Kinda odd some of us on this forum had to do a lot of work in giving people our money.

The prices is about the same as most people insurance deductibles, something to consider. If it saves you from having an accident, in my opinion, priceless.

FYI: I made adjustments on some of the options on my Maverick order today. Reconfirming what we already know; the front/rear mud guards are delayed items. I told her I would wait.

I just emailed the dealership. I changed from hybrid to ecoboost, changed FWD to AWD, added FX4 pkg and moonroof. Wife is going to roll the eyes. I figure this is probably one of my last new vehicle purchases as I plan on keeping it for a long time. Those gloss black wheels look sweet.

My buddy at work got a tailgate dampner for his 20 Ranger. Said it only took 5 minutes to install and likes it.
