Just got back from the dealer with my Cyber Orange beauty. 😍 Seven months after order confirmation.
It's very early days, but so far I'm tremendously impressed with this little truck. Smooth, quick and quiet, with zero rattles or odd noises as some have reported.
And for those like me who've...
Geez....talk about dodging a bullet. This is my exact build, and I'm picking it up today. My luck has almost always been uniformly rotten. My world no longer makes sense. 😲
Charlotte here. Should be getting my hybrid in early February. :)
Have yet to even see a Maverick on the road around here, but frankly I'd just as soon the first one I lay eyes on...is mine. 😉
Agreed. 👍
You know preference is all well and good, but I really don't get the hate out there for Cyber Orange. And all the "school bus" comments in particular mystify me. I've seen Cyber Orange in person several times....and you'll never find a school bus with such amazing depth and luster.
All...
I can't honestly say I truly dislike any of the color choices. But forced into a decision, I would pass on any version of red. In the past, value and availability forced me to settle for several red vehicles in a row. And though I actually like red well enough, after the last one, I promised...
Ditto here. "Can't Retrieve This VIN" is all MTC's tracker has shown me since I began trying back in November. Yet official emails and the Ford tracker shows the truck has now been built and is on it's way. No offense guys, but your "tracker".....ain't.
No worries though. I'm just happy to...
Well, mine sat at "In Production" for more than two weeks, but I finally got my "Built" email today. There doesn't seem to be much continuity to the process. Hopefully yours will follow soon. Good luck!
Sorry, I think I conflated a couple of things in my head. I access by the link from my "scheduled for production" email, and that brings me to the same page you're getting, only with the wording changed.
2022 Maverick XLT is "In Production".
In Production
Your order is being manufactured at...
I had a Dec 20 build week. It was "adjusted" to Jan 3 a week later. However, I just checked my tracking link and since yesterday it has changed from "scheduled" to "in production". Not sure what to think, as there has been no email to that effect. But I am definitely not complaining!
Yours must have been a six cylinder. I had a V-8 Maverick back in the day, and it was in the 9 second range. And I agree...this Maverick should work out VERY Ok. 👍
I understand "Maverick" was the overwhelming winner from several focus groups. (Ford wouldn't reveal any other choices...) That said, I think it's a great name for this truck. My first car was a 72 Maverick, and it was a solid and reliable performer for many years.
As for the car\truck thing...
Looks like Ford is scheduling a slew of hybrids today. Seems to be a much higher percentage of XLT’s and lux packages this time as well. Very good to see….and not just because one of them was mine. 😉
Well what do you know….got my email at 5:40 am.
XLT hybrid lux with co-pilot 360.
Order confirmed 6/24, scheduled for production 12/20!
Huntersville Ford NC
Wow….that felt good! 🤩
That certainly seems logical to me, but hey what do I know? I simply think that if that behavior isn't organic, the engineers would want to
simulate it...just because it is expected. And they would want new customers to experience a seamless transition to the new system. Just my two cents.
