Looks good, but I think if I was going to put sliders on I would go with JCR offroad sliders. JCR requires drilling and the floor skids though, so it would more expensive over all and more of a pain to install. These would be the way to go if you just like the look of sliders or needed a small...
Yeah, but is it in the 1755lbs that the dealer said is the weight? Or is 1755lbs without gas? I guess I would have to get it weighed to find out? As long as I'm not having issues towing I probably don't have to worry too much.
I'm definitely over the 514lbs. I didn't have anything extra in the boat/trailer though, unless you count gas... I holds 19 gallons, which is about 120lbs. Not sure if that is calculated in the tow weight.
Picked up my boat Saturday! 3 hour drive each way. No major issues. I know technically a bit over 2k when you add the weight of me my passenger, my HD cover, tools, etc... Rear sagged a bit, but not too bad.
Towed the first hour with the seats up.... 😬 Was only getting 11 mpg. Next hour got...
They already made money by selling you the 22. If they can get you to trade it in, they will make a profit on selling your 22 trade in and selling the 24 to you. Its a win win for them. Plus they are probably trying to sell off all their 24s before the 25s start arriving. If you are happy with...
Tolls were $7 going through Chicago, Mackinac bridge was $4. But if you took 90 all the way from Cleveland I'm sure that wasn't cheap! Used to do that drive a lot for work, but luckily I had an EZ pass I didn't have to pay for lol.
My moms side of the family is from Trenary! We went through Chicago to Milwaukee on the way there. We took the UP route on the way home! I hadn't been to the UP in 20+ years.
Yeah, much better MPG than me. I have a Tremor with oversized tires that really hurts my MPG. Going though Chicago really kills the MPG too, the traffic there is the WORST!
That's great MPG,
I didn't grow up in Detroit. Even if I would have, I don't see myself ever being a fan of the Lions. I have been a Packer fan since the mid 80s. If you have never been to Lambeau I highly recommend going to see a Packers/Lions game there. Make sure to do the tour/hall of...
Took the Maverick on its first long road trip. We usually take the girlfriends Edge on our yearly pilgrimage to Lambeau. It's gonna need a deep scrub to get all the bug guts off!!
If you look in the back seats, there is a lever that will pull up and there is hidden storage under the seats!!! Also front passenger side, there is a little hidden storage if you pull the lever!!!:teehee:
