Bc they might use a different mix of supply parts that are not as constrained as other parts on the hybrid? Pure conjecture on my part, but as a prior product manager, a good guess.
Also, the order log for the Eco-Boost might be showing higher selling prices or higher margins than the order log...
Yes. They have a separate product for beds w certain, specified tonneau covers. But these towers are not compatible w the Maverick (or surprisingly, the current F-150)
Yakima makes them that are compatible with SOME bedcovers, however is not compatible w the Maverick

It would think it’s how well they’re designed. Most new SUVs and upper level trucks come with them. They help prevent chipping from stones etc… My BMW X5 came with them, as did my Escape and Ridgeline. No rust.
For clarification I lived in the northeast when I owned all but my Ridgeline..

On the Bak website I don’t see a hard rolling cover that rolls into the top of the bed, only hard rolling covers that roll up on top. Not the sleek covers that roll underneath…
Did I miss something? 💁🏼♂️

Open up the page for the part and it shows as compatible. I’m sure Ford made the sides of the bed the same as their other trucks for good reason as Yakima never made any compatible w the Ridgeline bed.
Or it got tested and added by Yakima but not updated yet by Ford.
Yakima also shows “out of stock” on the towers which also fit other trucks, so it currently isn’t orderable from Yakima either.
Which are the features you can't dream of getting in the Mav exactly? 🤔
I can name several you can't dream of getting in the SC... so I'm still trying to figure out "all this good sh*t for 39k" that you're talking about..
Ford's already doing that. They are building the largest battery factory in the world right here in America.
Farley has already leaked that they are working on all-electric versions of the 2023 Ranger as well as potentially the Mav..
And then we have this... they are already planning to...
Not what I am saying at all. Supply chains have been regional/global for decades.
If you think that the engineering teams are released after the product launches, you don't understand the product management lifecycle. I was a hardware product manager for large IT company with factories in the...
