Yup, this is why I wanted to ask what I did… it looks like all wheels are spinning… interesting, right!? Hopefully it’s more Subaru or Audi AWD than Ford AWD lol!
I bet the wipers are like VW/Audi where they sit below the hood and to change blades or pull them off the windscreen you have to pull the wiper stalk down once after the car is powered off (or some other combo of interaction) and they’ll move 90 degrees and stop.
Awesome results! I'm a German car guy and this will be my first Ford. Was planning light (bolt-on) performance mods (coilovers, exhaust/intake etc.) to make a fun around town vehicle. I was set on the FWD but your AWD numbers got me thinking. No idea how the intelligent AWD they've got in...
When Lexus started doing that years back i always thought it looked great! Esp on the IS300. This minimalist LED matrix trend now in high-end cars is really cool. I hope we see it trickle down into new "normal" cars in the next generations. Ferrari and Porsche are killing it lately with their...
DIY is what a pickup is all about is it not? Ford is even encouraging it with the Maverick. I say as long as whatever you make is safe to the public (no risk of it flying off etc.) go nuts and make whatever you like! I'll be doing the DIY, in-bed bike rack and other DIY mods myself.
Ah I see. Probably not a big deal but i'd def show that to the dealer to make sure. At least get your concern noted on record in the worst case something does happen down the road etc.
I like the badge but the full smoked-out tails and 3rd I'm not a fan of personally. I like a light tint where they're still red... or OEM. The Maverick uses the 150 3rd so we can use all the aftermarket lights which is rad!
This last picture... that would worry me personally. That doesn't seem right. But I've only looked at 4 or 5 in person so far (at Chapman in Horsham). None of those had anything like that (that i noticed at least).
My wife has a 2019 Jetta with that “ice white” color (think that’s the name) and it’s crazy how much it changes! It’s like a completely different color in some light.
Yeah the stance of the ST 'shop is on point for static. Really hope we get a few offerings for springs and coilover kits. Id love to run 19's or 20's with some gap removed. Older I get the less I lower my cars/trucks. 2-3" would be perfect for me.
I'd love if someone made body/paint-matched ford emblems with black script. That would look clean. Well, on all but the super dark colors... then white script would be rad.
I always wonder how this all works and we see new cars bypass current laws. PA's law (last time i checked - 2018 maybe?) stated the "reflector" has to be amber not the light. Couldn't get away with clear, amber illuminating LEDs - got told off in state inspection and they showed me the...
It's going to look killer! Lighting coming along great too. How was cracking them apart? Did you bake them to loosen the adhesive?
Also - What are the spec on the Verde's + Tires? Will look dope with the drop. Going static or bags?
