  1. Who's put on some mileage on Hybrid Maverick as a work truck?

I’ll stay out of the ā€œwhat is a work truckā€ discussion lol Just got my Maverick, and will be using it for my job as a plumber, so call it what you will. I’m on the tools half the time or less, and doing project management, quotes, and sales the rest of the time. Here’s my bed loaded, but will...
  2. All WEATHER tire mileage on Hybrid

Has anyone used all WEATHER tires (not all seasons, or winter tires), on the Maverick? Wondering how much it affects mileage on the Hybrid, and if the winter performance is good enough with the Hybrid being only FWD. I like the idea of not having to swap tires every 6 months, but have never...
  3. New Mav observations for those considering it

šŸ˜‚ we go by the Canadian version of the metric system, so it would be 23.2 Maple Syrup bottles tall. Or 2.1 hockey sticks, if you prefer.
  4. New Mav observations for those considering it

Yep, it’s a pain for sure. Until the Maverick came along, there were literally no new work vehicles that would fit - meaning no cargo van or pickup truck. This includes Ford Transit Connect, Ram ProMaster City, Nissan NV (discontinued anyway), Tacoma, Ranger, Colorado, and Metris. I am so...
  5. New Mav observations for those considering it

Just picked up my XL Hybrid today! here’s a few items that some may find helpful: 1) my parking garage is 5’10ā€, and the Maverick JUST fits, if you unscrew the antenna. I researched before buying but sometimes seeing is believing. I’ll be looking for a stubby antenna. 2) I got the factory...

Picked up today!!! loving this little beast!
  7. Tools in the back seat -- how to protect seat from damage

Looks like a great setup! I like the fact that the seat belt covers are flaps instead of holes. some of the ones I read reviews on that claim to be waterproof say that the seat belt holes make the waterproofness much less waterproofey.
  8. Pick up tomorrow!

Thanks everyone! Slight hiccup today, the van I was trading in today literally broke down on the side of the highway in rush hour on my way to trade it in, just a few kms from the dealer šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø So my pick up of the Maverick got delayed by a day while I sort this out, but one thing turned out...
  9. Pick up tomorrow!

Ordered Jan 31, picking up tomorrow!
  10. Tools in the back seat -- how to protect seat from damage

Thanks! This is what I was thinking too. Glad to hear I’m not too far out to lunch :)
  11. Tools in the back seat -- how to protect seat from damage

For contractors or anyone using Mav as a work truck and putting tools in the back seat, what are you doing to protect the back seat from damage? I was thinking something like this from Amazon, but it looks like a bit of a pain to take off when I want to use the seats as seats on occasion...
