I dont think its high demand but more of low production. Thats why i think there has not been a big push for after market. Companys are still tring to figure out there return on investment..

Tesla comes to mind for sales model. Toyota for the first mass hybrid 1997. GM was the first mass all electric in 1996. Overall i believe testa revolutionized the car industry. Ford is just trying to play caught up.

Yeah the kit is a universal kit for the rear. You actually have to weld some fabrication to get it to work (on both fwd and rwd) the front is the same for both fwd and red so that doesn't matter. But for 2k+ I would expect drop in.. Not fabrication to work.. Pass.
