Ford has promised that dealerships that are reported will have their future allocations castrated.
We'll find out of its just lip service or not, but doesn't hurt to report them, and share the name here so people googling dealerships in the future see the bad reviews.
Here's a review of a track pack that isn't so hideous. Only thing is the title says $30K, but we know what the $30K one ACTUALLY looks like. As pictured is probably $40K.
Order finally came in, and declined it. :(
Very nice interior, even with the cloth which is a high quality look. Front seats are very comfortable, and everything is easily at hand with no sea of gloss black. Floating infotainment is very high resolution with a great 360 camera. Standard...
If insurance lets you do a buyback, you might be able to sell it to a Gen-Z. They seem to have an infatuation with burning, and consider anything "lit" or "fire" to be good, no cap. 🔥
Kidding aside, I hope the buyout is actually replacement value, and not some blackbook nonsense, because...
I can imagine the Ford marketing dude cracking open a cold Bud Light, lost in thought testing his gag reflex on the bottle, and just thinking to himself... "you know, is the new Raptor's image gay enough?"
It's either that, or they consulted the kids on Xbox Live chat on how they should market...
I'm a bit concerned with Ford marking the Raptor as "very gay"... and yes, I quadruple checked, this is not a hoax and is actually a legit marketing program.
And the Youtube Commenting section... 😅
Ditto, had to move from USAA to State Farm, huge price difference. Replacement value is a big thing though, not just parts cost. Our Mercedes is higher parts cost than the Nissan, but the Nissan being 5 years newer is more expensive to insure.
Mavericks are going UP rather than down in...
Oh sorry, other than the engine they look identical to the '21s. 2024 is actually a refresh model year though, higher trims will probably get the new 12.5" infotainment and all will probably get a redesigned grill. Might be worth waiting a few weeks to see what the reveal will look like...
If it were my money, I would sell it, lease something cheap for 2-years, and then rebuy a Maverick when the craziness has settled. That's what I'm doing anyway.
$14K over is an insane profit!
There are other vehicles in lesser demand that are still practical. That's why I picked up my '23...
A Maverick Hybrid with a $10K ADM is expensive too... either way, this is a Ranger and Colorado/Canyon competitor and those are all new for 2024 as well.
The real question is, what is going to be real world pricing and how do the affordable lower trims actually compare which are often the bulk...
Definitely not a direct competitor, but just as the Maverick can replace even Ford's small sedans and hatchbacks since it can do everything those can do and be super economical, this is a similar concept and both pickups and crossovers are hot now.
It is a real shame they aren't at least...
