  1. Easiest way to remove FX4 sticker

Yeah, I know it’s unAmerican, but I hate having any kind of decals on my cars, even pin striping. The very first thing I plan on doing once I take delivery is to get rid of those TREMOR decals.
  2. Easiest way to remove FX4 sticker

Iā€˜ve been reading up on this in preparation for the delivery of my Tremor, and what reportedly seems to help is to pre-soften the decal first by draping a towel soaked with hot water over the decal for a minute or so, and then hitting it with a hair dryer after the decal has been ā€œpre-softened.ā€...
  3. Why obscure your license plate in photos here?

I'm trying to envision a scenario where some nefarious criminal decides to get rich by randomly searching the web for a photo of a license plate mounted to the cheapest truck available today. Especially when that criminal can wander out on to the street and see thousands of license plates...
  4. Why are so many waiting so long for a car? Lots of them around here.

Yeah, I’ve received three emails (so far) showing that my ordered Tremor is ā€œIn Stockā€ and available for sale at my local dealer. I know it’s mine because they list the VIN in their email. The sad reality is that it supposedly is ā€œIn Productionā€ down in Hermosillo, and has been that way for...
  5. Moving to Phoenix can the maverick handle it?

Well, they're built in Hermosillo, which is hotter than Phoenix on average, so I suspect the truck will do fine. Humans? Not so much.
  6. My Ceramic Coating Journey

Yeah, I’m one of those barbarians that takes my truck through a regular car wash (with brushes and everything) every few weeks. A ceramic coating would be completely wasted on me.
  7. Speed Check Ahead

I believe the progress bar tells you how close you’re getting to the reported law enforcement vehicle. But more often than not, the vehicle has moved on by the time I drive through these ā€œevents.ā€
  8. Show your bed storage solutions (non-work trucks)

Does that divider rattle around, or did you build it to be tight in the slot?
  9. Maverick Gas

Exactly! And to those of you who will swear up and down that Brand X gas is better than Brand Y gas, I spent a good part of my youth working at a national brand gas station (which I will leave nameless), and we would sometimes get gas delivered from that brand's tanker trucks. Other times we'd...
  10. Maverick Gas

Or, you could just take a glance at your gas gauge. :p
  11. Maverick Gas

Yes, how you drive affects how much gas you're consuming. And that affects the "Miles to Empty" number.
  12. Maverick Gas

Here's what I do almost every time I fill up my car: 1) Put the pump on full until it clicks off. 2) Then, put it on low and let it click off again. That way you don't overfill the tank, but you get a full tank every time.
  13. Maverick Gas

Yep, my wife is a long-time company member (27 years now) at OSF. Coos Bay rocks!
  14. Maverick Gas

Well, it could be a number of things: 1. Most likely: you didn't actually fill your tank as full on your "313" fill up versus your "400" fill up. Perhaps the flow rate was faster at the "313" gas station, and the nozzle clicked off earlier than it did at the "400" gas station. 2. You were...
  15. Maverick Gas

Um... because you have less gas in the tank?
  16. Maverick Gas

"Miles to empty" tells you how much gas you have remaining in your tank. Where you buy your gas has no effect on that number.
  17. Might have overloaded the Maverick today... but handled it like a champ and still impressive mileage

For nice hazy IPA, maybe. For any ā€Liteā€ beer? Pff! Go rent yourself a U-Haul! :sneaky:
  18. YES, your car spying on you and automakers are selling the info
