My red T3s hyper flashed (sometimes) before any recalls were done. Their behavior didn't change after the recalls. Doesn't bother me though. I know they are working.

I was thinking more for low speed off roading stuff where the instant torque would be appreciated. Battery would last a long while in that use case. Doing it this way allows for the Tremor AWD unit to be fed by instant torque, with minimal re-engineering.

I think that tried to make the AWD as close to the EB as possible. Maybe some of the Tremor stuff will find its way into the hybrid? That spot for a 2nd battery open still? Electric torque and AWD make for some great low speed off-roading options.

I bet the fender hole has something to do with quality checks on the assembly line. Hard to torque check those bolts otherwise. There is some air that finds its way over there so a vent would allow it to exit.

Looks like the new engine has on oil catch above the valve cover and an integrated intake manifold.

How does the 2.5L handle the 0.5mg/mi PM requirement? Do they test just the engine? Does it get a pass because it produces 0 when on electric? Is the Atkinson cycle that much more emissions friendly? How would the hybrid cope with regen? How does regen work with stop start?

That was their strategy back when they axed the compact Ranger. Didn't work out so well.

Are these functional?

I more than likely have this unit but from a different vendor as I got it over a year ago. The edges curl a bit over time and the stitching on the velcro has partially failed, but the heat reduction is astounding for the price. Took a bit to master folding it back up into circles.

Anyone got part numbers for adding lumbar like she mentioned?
