I just found some bath towels and laid them on the bench with the car seats on top. After removing a car seat the last thing I would want to do is have to carefully remove a seat cover, especially one that would require both seats to be removed. The towels were quick to change out by comparison.

I still get about 32 mpg average with just under 40K miles on the odometer. Still on the continentals. Mostly rural highway. 87 from Costco.

Ford seems to go by the tire's reported Revs/Mi. 2232mm = 721 Revs/Mi which is what is reported. 2270mm = 709 Revs/Mi.
