The spray in liner isn't holding the hybrid orders up.....they are building as many as they can ...they just don't have the parts for the hybrid orders.....trust me they didn't stop taking hybrid orders because of a SIBL....something is holding up production of the hybrid, maybe engine/tranny or...
Don't panic yet, there are thousands of hybrids that were ordered in june/July that haven't been scheduled ....Tim at LongMac has 80 of them, my dealer has 70 unscheduled hybrids, I guessing most will get March build dates.
Allocations have nothing to do with it, even LongMacarther have 80 June/July hybrids not scheduled yet, just asked Tim that last night. There are probably 10000+ June/ July hybrids not scheduled yet.
Exactly, those dates are best case scenario dates....so assuming everything runs like clockwork for the next 10 MONTHS......LOL.....yeah that's going to happen.... 2023 model starts production Oct 24th...so they will still be building 2022 trucks in early Oct. There is not going to be a big...
They are building about 6000 trucks a month.....but nobody knows how many trucks Ford has on their backlog, that's a corporate level secret....I guessing Ford doesn't want customers to do the 3rd grade math and come to the realization that their truck might be 10 or 11 months out.
I think you're missing my point, there are hybrid orders from June/July no lux package, no SIBL, no BUILD DATE...yet ecoboost trucks are being ordered/scheduled within weeks..... again it's not a SIBL issue....it's a hybrid parts shortage problem .
You don't have to stock pile trucks, you build them , send them out and spray the liner in later, alot of dealers can do that themselves and the ones that don't do that have been using franchise companies for decades.....they said the Mexico plant can build 800 units a day.....they are only...
Hey Tim, I think we're saying the same thing, you can only build the trucks you have parts for, the difference between a hybrid and ecoboost are the engine, tranny and hybrid battery...those are production line stoppers, cant move a truck down the line without those parts......but you can build...
No you're wrong most if the backlog at Long Macarther are hybrids just like that chart....look there's parts they can't get fast enough to ramp production up on the hybrid, engine ? Tranny? Battery ?....nobody knows it's a secret at Ford....but I can tell you this it's not the stupid spray in...
