I understand the parts shortage and supply chain issues created by the pandemic..... prepandemic very few of us knew about the allocation system, it didn't matter if a small dealer had to wait 3 or 4 weeks longer than a large dealer to get an order delivered.....but now even large dealers aren't...
Yes the 360 copilot is a constraint, but there were a lot of ecoboost trucks that got scheduled last Thursday with the 360 and lux package.....you're probably a victim of the allocation system ....which is a disaster in itself.
Exactly what I've been saying for a month now, the lux package/ 360 copilot don't seem to be slowing down the ecoboost orders from being built/shipped and delivered.....but if you want your hybrid you better remove that stuff,....lol....something else going on with the hybrid that Ford is...
Thanks for the review, like the mods you've done...very cool..I have a cactus grey on order , looking forward to getting it .....I've seen 6 different color Maverick on the road but have yet to see a cactus grey one.
It's a corporate level secret....if we had that info, most of us could do the grade school math and quickly come to the conclusion that thousands of trucks will not get built for MY2022
Hey I made it through your post.....lol....well thought out....the only thing I think you may be wrong on is the ratio of hybrids to ecoboost....I think it might be closer to 50/50, maybe even more hybrids than ecoboost.....like you I'll wait for the hybrid I've ordered.
Obviously they don't have the parts to build the hybrids......they're moving previously scheduled hybrids out 2 to 4 weeks and filling those spots on the assembly line with ecoboost orders....some that were ordered yesterday......has nothing to do with who has allocations or the damn SIBL. I...
"J. D. Powers estimates Ford will sell at least 80000 trucks ".....keep in mind thats the low estimate....Ford built 20000 Mavericks in 2021 ,at the current production rate they'll be lucky to get 50000 more built before production starts on MY2023.........that's 10k short ......guessing...
Your dealer probably didn't enter your email address or entered it wrong.....I received a confirmation message from Ford within 5 minutes of placing order and have received the sorry it's taking so long to get your truck built messages........Hey congrats on getting a build date, hoping I'll get...
The dealer didn't put your email address in or they didn't place the order(which I think is unlikely)....should have received a confirmation within a day or two at the most.
I'm thinking with a July 7 order date you'll probably get scheduled next week for either the 2nd or 3rd week of march......I agree Ford is not going to get all the MY22 hybrids built, their just stringing people along for the next 7 or 8 months hoping they'll stick around for MY23.
Yes his 2500 hybrids a month is a low estimate, not sure how many will be built in Jan./Feb. , but i remember seeing that Ford is going to build 3500 hybrids in March, and who knows what the # for April will be it could go up.
