I watched most of the Amazon review videos for both Orion and Deezee. Got the same vibe from those that Deezee was. That plus the fact that Ford Accessories is selling the Deezee as well. Went with Deezee and yes it catches from the start.

My first one was in my Titan, in direct sunlight up near the dash. Never an issue. The one for the Mav hasn’t gotten to its first summer yet and it’s under the dash away from any light.

Had these on my ’05 Titan. I would definitely buy some if a mod ever became available.

For mine, the mirrors worked, but I needed to enable the heated windshield with Forscan. While in there I also disabled the rear defroster.

Thanks, i got the module from a 2020 escape hybrid, this kept it pretty much plug and play. I did, however have to use FORscan to enable the windshield heater for the wipers.

Same here, I just hit 3000 with my ‘23 Lariat Hybryd and enjoying every bit of it. Having fun with tasteful mods/upgrades. Tint, KIA Homelink mirror, digital heater controls. Been good so far.

So I just used FORscan for the first time today. Mainly to see how it functioned and to see if my heated windshield was active since the swap. Turns out it was not. With ForScan, I was easily able to enable the setting. I changed nothing else for the moment. Kept it simple at first.

I didn’t realize this part, I did purchase an interface and FORscan license in case I needed it for some tweaks. So I guess I’m gonna play some more. Thanks for that bit of info.

The buttons just pop off with a small screwdriver. Just be careful, they scratch easily.

By staying hybrid to hybrid, I didn’t need to use FORscan for it to work as expected. I do however, think there may some minor differences within the Control Module programming that could be adjusted.

Everyone has their own opinion on this. Could I have lived without it, sure. My wife gave me some Amazon and EBay gift cards for Xmas so I could play. And play I will.
