There is a software update recall that is suppose to solve the battery problem . Don't hold your breath . There were some mavericks that came with AGM batteries .

Turn it off each time . not a fan . battery drain , extra engine wear , turbo wear and starter wear . not enough gas savings to make up for the extra wear and tear on expensive components in the long run imo . But I only have 8700 miles after 2 3/4 years .

bugflector mounts under Hood and leaves about one inch from Hood to clean with sponge or rag . also protects front edges of fenders . originally had to Dremel out 2 center holes to line up to fit . mine is over 2 years old and so far so good . hopefully avs has straighten out the alignment...

Pretty crappy that a manufacturer would sell an item for a specific vehicle that is faulty .

Doesn't matter which way 25 Mav bumper/ fascia is put together it's still ugly imo .

Had 2004 f150 for 18 years and used mostly for towing 5k lb travel trailer . Did a fine job but no longer needed . sold it and don't miss it . mpg was terrible ( 10 mpg city / 16 mpg highway ) . bought maverick in October 2021 and using it and enjoying it . mpg city 23 / highway 31.5 .

Used Ford ranger dibl modified ( measured and cut with jigsaw ) bought on Craigslist for $25 . Price was right and works for me . extra cut material used for tailgate . Even has the Ford logo at front towards the cab .

It's a truck with a hitch . I'll keep it factory .

After update no longer have seat belt audio reminder that I don't miss . always buckle up anyhow and always wear a helmet on bicycle or motorcycle . Don't yet know what else has been affected . Time will tell ? Another Ford Tough moment . Not a confidence building event for relying on dealership...

Dealership sent out Mobil tech to update bcm/pcm for 3 recalls this am . hopefully this takes care of any software issues .

I had a issue with that piece as well as some others on mtc . It wasn't caused by a car wash but a manufacturers issue . I pushed it back down in slot and put some clear silicon caulk on it to keep it down . problem solved . you can get it fixed at dealership under warranty .

I have plenty of experience backing up trailers and vehicles . What about the many people that can't even backup a car safely or parallel park . A lot of people can't even park correctly in a parking lot . A lot of people park by touch .

No change in my mpg from before to after tonneau cover . less drag resistance was probably equalled out with extra weight of my undercover armor tonneau imo .

Possibly low trans fluid level . expands as warms up . Unfortunately in Ford wisdom no trans level ✔ ing from engine bay . Ford eliminated that dip stick .
