Yes its absolutely absurd and the Ford Execs should feel shame for their very existence. I can understand SOME unforeseen circumstances leading to delays, but after I have been told my truck would be built on 5 different dates over 6 months, only to time after time be told I've been pushed back...
And I got pushed. AGAIN. 4th time. Was scheduled for production this week. Dealership called and said now its first week of August. FFS. No constraint items and its going to be 14 months from ordered to received if that actually follow through on that August schedule.
Well tomorrow is the last weekday of the "week of the 27th", no window sticker available, no change in the status on tracker, no modules online. So I don't know if I should assume I got pushed AGAIN, or maybe it will actually get built by tomorrow afternoon and they just forgot to update it.

FINALLY. I have a VIN number and the first email since order confirmation last fall.
Dealership told me a month ago that on their end it looked like a build date of June 13th, so a little disappointed it got pushed to end of June but at least its progress...

How do you check a tracking site? None of the emails I've ever gotten from Ford have like an order number. They just say things like "Order confirmed."
Sooo I didn't get an email yesterday from Ford. I haven't received one since the pointless "we wish we could do it faster" email from a month or two ago. I thought it was being sent to all unscheduled orders? I certainly haven't gotten a scheduling email...
Who did you call? The dealership or Ford? My dealership always just says "You will hear before we do", and the one time I tried calling Ford the rep was clueless and just transferred me back to my dealership...
At what point do I just give up? Ordered last September. No communication since. Been bouncing between borrowed vehicles and rental cars, now finally driving an ancient 1990 Mazda pick up from my backyard that's held together with duct tape and hope.
