I know the rear suspension is ver different, but I am trying to figure out if the front differs?
I ordered a coilover lift kit and they sent the entire rear suspension parts. But the front is currently installed and "fit", but I get a constant rattling over bumps and have checked things a...
Looks great! Does the suspension make any noise? smooth ride? I installed an adjustable coilover lift in the front and it constantly sounds like something is loose... even though it isn't
Ha! Yup, that was me. XPEL Boise did it and I just picked it up on Tuesday.
As for the @Flatout Suspension I bought. I need to wait until I sort it out the right parts and get it lifted another 1.5" before I give you my final verdict on the suspension.
Let's meet up. I'm in central boise...
Its not for the $$[faint]$$ of heart... My wife bought a $50K car and I got a $28K truck that I will probably add another $10K to. Expensive upgrades? Hell yes, but it's still a lot less than her car (and most) and I like 100x more!
I thought I would put my build progress up. I have a few more things to do still.
2023 Maverick XLT Hybrid, Cactus Grey
Upgrades:
RTR Tech 6 - Satin Charcoal wheels 17"
245/70R17 Nitto Nomad Grapplers
Zep purple degreaser on tail lights
ZPEL 35% film on headlights.
Painted side emblems with...
I made these myself. Here is what you do.
1. Get FORD H8/M7329A Electric Spice Pearl in spray paint (good to add clear coat also)
2. Painted with Plasti-dip 8 coats (any color, I used black. none of the plasti-dip stays), dry overnight
3. Carefully peel the plasti-dip off of the chrome letters...
Does anyone know how to remove this part. I am having the entire car covered in Satin Paint Protection Film (PPF) tomorrow. Will share pictures afterward, but how does this one come off?
Hopefully, my "mistake" will save a few people. Don't buy / use the spray bottle of Zep Purple degreaser. It's ready-to-use, which means that it is not strong enough to work. I have soaked it for 2 days and I still have some chrome on there. Going to get the 1 gallon, which is concentrated.
The Hybrid I ordered will actually be made and I really struggled between keeping the Tremor and getting the Hybrid, but I drive too much and want the hybrid.
It has 3,200 miles on it.
See attached for the option package. Don't need to make money on this, but want to get my purchase price...
HI,
Not sure about shipping. Feel free to look up what it would cost.
I am in 83703 (Boise, ID)

These are brand new takeoffs from my Maverick Tremor with 24 miles on them (from dealer straight to tire store). Will fit any Maverick without rubbing.
Must buy all 4. Rims not included.
I biased towards handicapping the offroad capability for the quieter ride and better road driving. I value the approach angle, suspension, and clearance of the Tremor... (not to mention that I really, really wanted Avalanche Grey), but I don't off road a ton. Just a preference. I knew I was...
I came to decide the exact same thing today. If I lift anymore, the space between the top of the tire and the wheel well will be too big and I think it will look unbalanced. It will feel like it needs bigger tires, but bigger tires don't fit.... so this is gonna be it... at least for now...
The inside of the fender wells is some soft fabric type material and, yes there is a tiny rub while in reverse and fully cranked. My 4runner did the same and after the tires had a few months of wear on them, they never rubbed. So, this is effectively "does't rub"
I am like how this looks. The Tremor added 1" suspension lift and the tires added another inch. Trying to decide if I also add the the 4WP coil spring lift which would be another 1" up front and 3/4" in the rear. Whatcha think? I want it to feel proportional, and I think if I go too high...
