There's not much one can do if they refuse to change it. If my dealer would have refused... and I didn't get a build date this time around, i would have went to a different dealer next time. But, he was totally open and cool about it. He gained a loyal customer in doing so.

I don't know if it was a coincidence, but I learned here that I could call my dealer and ask them to change my Priority Code from 19 to 10. This effectively puts you further up the build list.

Okay, cool. I saw that the hitches are a constraint, so I messaged my dealer, asking if I can remove that option from my XLT without changing my place in line. I'll know tomorrow.
Where do you see that Ford "scheduled a ton of hybrids last week"? If I could see that info, I would feel much better... as in standing in a line of unknown length, but shuffling forward occasionally. Thanks
