I think the Ford website is meant to indicate that these vehicles are either in transit or that they’ve been ordered as stock by those dealers, not that they are actually in stock yet.

Even though “Search Inventory” is not listed under the Maverick on Ford’s site, you can see what dealers near you have stock units coming in by going to: shop.Ford.com/inventory/maverick Not sure if this was already known or posted.

Order confirmed on 8/31 so it’ll be a while for me I imagine.

It’s essentially the same because the gasoline engine will basically kick on immediately regardless of the state of charge of your battery when it’s that cold. 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid owner from around Chicago.

Which dealers?

I’m in a 2015 Ford Fusion hybrid currently and have been mostly suburban driving. I think the lifetime average for my car (65K miles) is somewhere around 45mpg, for a car rated 44 city 41 hwy. AC and heat usage can have a big impact however.

I guess I never realized this although it makes sense. I’ve enjoyed the blind spot mirrors on my current vehicle but I think I’d like the rear cross traffic alert more.

Makes sense to me. There’s the under seat storage and I can’t think of another reason to fold the seats flat since you’ve got the bed for larger items. Then again I’ve never owned a truck or had dogs so.

Inherited it from my dad, I guess. He always bought Fords, and they got traded around the family at different times. First car I purchased on my own was a 2015 Fusion Hybrid. Wasn’t really thinking about changing until I saw the news about the Maverick. As for a next car, we’ll have to wait and see.

I’m in a position where I can afford to wait. I don’t have an immediate need for a new vehicle, and there’s nothing else out there of interest to me. I don’t need a truck to haul heavy items or tow a trailer. Occasionally I need more space for unwieldy items but I’m not interested in sacrificing...

Yeah I’m assuming this hybrid will be like my current Ford Fusion and I would be surprised if there was a button for auto start stop because the engine is meant to do that on its own anyway

I was just in Lake Shore Drive last week and saw several pickups driving there. No issues. The specialty plates can be on trucks under 8000lbs so you can avoid getting a B plate that way. I know there’s been some movement change the rules in Chicago to be more friendly towards pickups but...

Interesting. Mine did list the copilot 360 but not the other smaller specifics to my order (tow hitch, 110V). Am planning on emailing my dealer anyway to see if I can get a copy of the DORA.
