  2. Anybody’s maverick is built but just won’t ship?

One more for this party. Confirmed order date with Ford - July 11, 2021. Built - August 28, 2022. Shipped - ????????… Had several constraint options that I refused to remove - Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid, Lux Package, SIBL, Hard Tonneau Cover, Copilot 360.
  3. Cell carrier

Mobile phone repeater antennas work great for places with little to no cell phone reception. See so many pick-ups in the oil patch in West Texas.
  4. Cell carrier

Yes you could to share your hotspot so people in your vehicle could use it.. The vehicle will continue to use the ATT connection for Ford Pass, etc.
  5. Cell carrier

It has to be a deal Ford has with ATT and I bet there is no actual physical sim in the truck. Many phones are now eSIM compatible and do not require a physical sim to operate on a network. All you do is contact your carrier and provide them you ESN number and youā€˜re on a new network. I’m sure...
  6. Good News!!!!

Talked to my dealer and he said my order was clean but not scheduled. So It’s all set to be scheduled when its my turn.
  7. Chevy's new Mini truck !

Awesome! I can buy one for each foot and be good to go. Plus it’s fully electric. Take that F-150 Lightning!šŸ˜œšŸ˜‚šŸ¤£
  8. Fake engine and hybrid exterior sound in Maverick hybrid 2.5L?

Though nothing is guaranteed, I feel a lot better with the Varia with some piece of mind! I have a Garmin and now a Karoo 2 but there’s also a unit that only reports the radar. My wife used that before she got a computer and it worked well.
  9. Fake engine and hybrid exterior sound in Maverick hybrid 2.5L?

My wife’s Lexus UX 200h makes noise when backing up. It’s pretty loud and my neighbor commented to me that he thought there was something wrong with the car’s reverse gear. That’s when I checked into it and found out it was a federal requirement for EVs and hybrids. Make sense and I don’t...
  10. 2023 Maverick list - 3% under invoice with @dealersider

Coo deal! I lived in San Diego as a kid, in the North Park area. We lived across 805 from where the PSA plane crashed in 1978. We had moved two years earlier to Texas so we were lucky to have not witnessed it first hand.
  11. Side steps?

I did some checking. Ground clearance for the Maverick vs. SportTrac = 8.3ā€ vs. 6.7ā€. So it seems like its a bit higher step in height.
  12. Side steps?

The Maverick will be my wife’s daily driver and since she’ pretty petite, she asked me about side steps and if I thought they were needed. She had a very nice SportTrac back in the day and loved it. It came with side steps so the reason for the question. From what I’ve seen so far, it looks like...
  13. Deposit money required for ordering Maverick?

No deposit require by my dealer either. And no obligation to purchase if I back out once the truck arrives. This is from my dealer order form. I can’t complain about my dealer (If they would just do the 4% under invoiceā€¦šŸ¤”). I’ll be able to work something out with them once the vehicle arrives.
  14. 2023 Maverick list - 3% under invoice with @dealersider

All good, didn’t mean any disrespect. I happen to have worked with a company that gave me some interesting info on the car manufacturing logistics. Living here in Texas, I see lot of assembled vehicles and components that transit via rail between San Antonio and Laredo since the rail line...
  15. San Antonio / Austin

I ordered from Leif Johnson Ford. They’ve been pretty straight with me for a long time. My last purchase from them was a Ranger Lariat Tremor in April. It was a dealer order that I was able to snag it while in transit (and no dealer add ons!!). I ordered a Lariat Maverick for my wife. Got the...
  16. 2023 Maverick list - 3% under invoice with @dealersider

Nogales is actually in Arizona. I believe most vehicles assembled in Mexico are transported via Rail into the US. Once here, the vehicles are routed to a transit yard closets to their final destination. Once there, the vehicles are then moved off the rail cars and loaded onto car carriers for...
