I'm gathering energy to start my project.

I'm about to start my project from a SYNC 2.5. It's not necessary to break all the plastic to cut the middle bracket. The screen comes apart and you can work with just the metal piece.

I bought one from the FOCUS 4 and it worked perfectly...And it's already working with the paddles on the steering wheel.

I bought it at a scrapyard in Spain, from a FOCUS 4. But, it didn't work well until I changed this number for the original one.

This will help me when I start my project! I'm going to do something similar to what you did.

Good luck with it. I bought all the parts separately. I'll have them all by December. The black plastic that the Chinese sent you is to cover the excess space. It is the only thing that cannot be bought separately.

Can you upload a photo showing the screen and sync code? I think the screen is the 12" one from the Transit. If you can 3D scan that piece of black plastic, I think I know how to do all that for a lot less money.

Sync 4 model 2023 already purchased. I still need to buy the cables and wait for everything to arrive before starting the experiment.

That screen is the one that the Ford Transit has (the one I bought to do the same thing).

The video shows a Maverick XL. With Sync 2.5...And that KIT could only work on Maverick with Sync 3 (Lariat, Tremor, etc). :devil:
