Here in AZ my cars are not garaged so I use ceramic spray/303 on everything otherwise in a few years painted/clear coated/plastic parts show sun damage. Bare metal (silver parts) on wheels no doubt have been clear coated.

I'm 62 and tend to just use the rear tire as a step and go over the side. Try it, it's easy. I may not be still doing that in my 70's.
