  1. Insurance Cost High compared to other vehicles

Since the Mav is a unibody and still new, the cost for repairs are enormous, (limited parts). Go in the search for wrecks, the cost for just replacing the front or rear bumpers is in the thousands. I've seen many totaled for what would be a repair for a truck with a separated bed.
  2. Dealer driving car to me - worried about break in period

Just let them drive it to the dealer. Change oil within the 1st 1000 miles. Only use FULL synthetic oil.
  3. Good Dealer List

I didn't see Dothan Alabama listed. Sales good, service ok.
  4. Mavi build / yellow headlights

Where did you find the clear side markers? Do they provide much light to the roadside?
  5. Is it large enough for you?

Can you lower the seat. I'm able to on the Lariat.
  6. 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD just delivered!

Could you exempt the black roof with the BAP pkg? Also, does it still only have the flip mirror?
  7. Why there is so much debate.

I had this type of adjustment in my 16 Tundra. Worked great when towing my camper or heavy load.
  8. Tailgate assist issue

Did you take the tie down (bottle opener) off the tailgate? That may cause an interference with the cable when closing.
  9. Can I Buy a 2025 and store it for a year?

Eruption green is suppose to be offered for 25 only. I understand your choices. A battery tender and coat of ceramic wax should do just fine. Hopefully you'll get your Mav before heading to Germany. BTW...we've been to Germany a few times. One of our favorite places. Happy New Year and Godspeed.
  10. $40K- the new norm?

Hopefully, when (if) the Toyota Stout comes out, there'll be some competition. Maverick still rules for compact truck and can set the price. If tariffs go up on the Mexican made truck, Toyota has various plants here in the states to build. I worked at Toyota KY plant 25 years.
  11. Anyone have TSB-24-2317 Dash Rattles done yet?

Makes me wonder if I should get my dash done. I have an appointment for dash rattle and back seat latch. Debating on front speaker cover replacement also 🤔 😬
  12. Here’s kind of a weird take: the Ford Maverick is embarrassing.

I worked for Toyota manufacturing in Georgetown KY for 25 years. I went from assembly in Power Train to machining con-rods and cranks to my last 10 years in QC. Retired in 2016, bought a new Tundra, moved to Dothan for family, sold Tundra w/60,000 miles for $32,000. Never had Ford before, but...
  13. Making BAP wheels look a little better

What size did you order? 19mm or 21 mm
  14. Here’s kind of a weird take: the Ford Maverick is embarrassing.

Days of the $19,990 price are over. More models for 25 to choose from, more options, and (hopefully) less glitches, Ford is making $$ by selling as many as they make...not to mention hitting $40,000 mark. Toyota may be too little to late with ( and when) the Stout comes out. Anyway, happy with...
  15. Black Friday & Cyber Monday Deals Are Live! Don’t Miss Out!

Hey Ryan...will the rear seat storage dividers still fit if I have the floor storage mats?
  16. Pair two phones

My experience in the wife's Avalon is whoever gets in 1st, is who's phone gets connected 😆
  17. US regulators open two investigations into Ford recalls - One being Degraded Batteries

Ford never expected the sales of Mavericks to be so much in demand when it could've acknowledged the problem but sadly, quantity came before quality. I hope Ford steps up and takes responsibility before the government has to.
  18. US regulators open two investigations into Ford recalls - One being Degraded Batteries

Agree...if Ford only spent a few more $$ in the start, they'd save 10 fold now for replacement and lawyers.
  19. Anyone have TSB-24-2317 Dash Rattles done yet?

There is also a TBS for that. I'm going Tuesday morning to get both done. Also, has Ford found a fix for the loose left rear tail light yet?
